Dalsland Stories On this page we are happy to publish some articles written by Swedish and Swedish Americans Many people left Dalsland for America during the later part of 1800 until the early 1900. Those people now have descendants in the USA. We found it very interesting to learn more about their thoughts and feelings about their ancestor´s native country but also about what happened to the emigrants and their children and grandchildren in the new country. On this page we are happy to publish some articles written by Swedish and Swedish Americans about their family story. We will continually add to the collection.
