Organizations who participate in the Home Coming Year 2008 |
The project is owned by the Village Action Group Fyrbodal and funded by the European Union and the County Administrative Board of Västra Götaland as well as by a number of businesses and organizations who participate in the Home Coming Year 2008. The purpose of the project is to promote a living countryside by supporting business development in the rural areas of Dalsland and especially quality and product development within the tourist sector. The project runs from November 2007 until October 2008 and the goal is to create an organization that will allow small businesses and single entrepreneurs to partner with larger tourist businesses and travel agencies.
Some of the participating organizations are Lodge 644 Mellerud of the Vasa Order of America, the Museum of Mellerud, Dalsland Turist AB, the study organization SV Dalsland and the genealogy organization Släktforskare på Dahl.
