Culture & Learning Events Every summer Dalsland offers its wonderful culture and nature to interested visitors. There are many events and attractions to participate in. The difficulty is to choose which seems most interesting and exciting. During the Home Coming Year 2008 there are also special events offered, showing both the historic and the modern Dalsland. You are invited to learn more about genealogy, to meet with the emigrant´s descendants, to enjoy Swedish folk dance and maybe try yourself or to visit a crayfish party or an art exhibition. You are also invited to participate in the annual events at Gammelgården, the folklore outdoor museum and Halmens Hus, the only straw museum in Sweden and many other annual events around Dalsland.   [ Back ]
