We invite you to spend a day or two touring the province and experiencing the genuine culture and nature of Dalsland. Participate in the many events where local history and culture meet, just for your entertainment. You will enjoy meeting with the local people and create your own experience far from the ordinary tourist routes.
Go on a Food Rally tour and enjoy the local food and products from Dalsland, visit the aqueduct in Håverud, the rock carvings in Högsbyn and the folklore hall in Lästvik.
Follow in the emigrant´s footsteps and visit the small cottages and old farm houses they left behind. See the large grain store house they built while times were still good and experience summer night music from female voices in one of the old churches in Dalsland.
Enjoy a full day at Håverud-Upperud with the aqueduct, the Canal Museum, Dalsland Museum and Art Gallery. Take a short trip with the old steamboat to the House of Crafts with five stories of beautiful handicraft and art objects, to look at and purchase.
